Train
If you're starting from Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station towards Nara. Get off at Fujinomori Station, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. Once you exit the station, head south on the main road (Fukakusa Toriizakicho) for about 10 minutes. You will see Fujinomori Shrine on your left.
Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 83 or 88. After about 30 minutes, get off at Fujinomori Shrine bus stop (Fukakusa Toriizakicho). The shrine is right across the street. Simply cross the road, and you will find the entrance to Fujinomori Shrine.
Walking
If you're near the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, it's about a 25-minute walk to Fujinomori Shrine. Head south from the Inari Shrine along the path towards the main road. Continue straight onto Fukakusa Toriizakicho, and you will reach Fujinomori Shrine after about 2 kilometers.
