Walking
If you are in the vicinity of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, exit the temple grounds and head down the path towards the main road. Once you reach the main road (Kiyomizu-zaka), turn left and continue walking straight. You will soon see Sannenzaka, a charming, sloping street lined with traditional wooden buildings and shops. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Kyoto Station, take bus number 100 or 206 towards Kiyomizu-dera. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kiyomizu-michi bus stop, exit the bus and walk uphill for about 5 minutes. This will lead you directly to Sannenzaka.

Walking from Gion
If you are in the Gion area, walk along Shijo Avenue and cross the Kamo River. Continue straight until you reach the Kiyomizu-zaka street. Turn right and walk up the street for about 15 minutes. This route will take you through beautiful traditional neighborhoods and will bring you to Sannenzaka.
