From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the East exit. You will find a bus stop with routes towards Kofuku-ji. Alternatively, you can walk from Nara Station to Kofuku-ji, which is about a 20-minute walk.

From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus (Route 100 or 206) to Nara. The bus will take you directly to Nara Station. From Nara Station, you can catch a local bus that leads to Kofuku-ji, or you can walk the approximately 20 minutes to the temple.

If you're already in Nara City, Kofuku-ji is located near the city center. From Nara Park, walk south towards the Nara National Museum. Kofuku-ji is just a short 10-minute walk from the museum, following the road signs towards the temple.
