Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Omi and head towards Route 19. Follow Route 19 northbound for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Nagano City. Once in Nagano, take the Matsushiro exit toward Matsushiromachi. Continue on Matsushiro Road for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Sanada Treasure Hall, located at 4-1 Matsushiromachi Matsushiro, Nagano. There is parking available on-site, which may incur a small fee.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, begin your journey at Omi Station. Take the JR Chuo Main Line train towards Nagano Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Nagano Station, transfer to the Nagano Electric Railway and board the train bound for Matsushiro Station. The trip will take about 15 minutes. From Matsushiro Station, it's a 10-minute walk to Sanada Treasure Hall. Simply head south on Matsushiro Road, and you will see the museum at 4-1 Matsushiromachi Matsushiro.
