From Hanshin Ishiyagawa Station, Kobe Shushinkan is an 8-minute walk south along the Ishiyagawa River. Exit the station and follow the signs. The brewery is also a short taxi ride from Mikage Station on the Hanshin Railway or Rokko-michi Station on the JR line. Single fares on Kobe city buses are around ¥210. Visitors can observe the brewing process through a glass-paneled corridor and learn about the special rice and water used. Following the tour, enjoy a complimentary sake tasting, with staff explaining the different varieties and their unique characteristics.Kobe Shushinkan also features a shop with a complete range of Fukuju products, including limited editions, sake-flavored sweets, and savory snacks that pair well with sake. The on-site restaurant, Sakabayashi, offers seasonal dishes for lunch and dinner, perfectly complemented by sake pairings. The brewery is committed to ethical and environmentally friendly production, using recycled materials and conserving water.
