Car
If you are traveling by car, start from central Settsu. Take the Hanshin Expressway (Route 13) towards Osaka. After about 15 minutes, exit the highway at the Settsu Interchange. Merge onto Route 171 and continue for approximately 10 km. Then, take a left onto Route 1 and follow the signs to Kyoto. After approximately 5 km, you will reach a roundabout; take the second exit onto Route 161. Continue for another 5 km, and you will see signs for Dannō-hōrinji Temple. The temple is located at 〒606-8387 Kyoto, Sakyo Ward, Horinji Monzencho, 36. There is limited parking available near the temple.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the JR train from Settsu to Osaka Station. From Osaka Station, transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line and take the train to Karasuma Station. Transfer to the Kyoto City Subway Karasuma Line and travel to Marutamachi Station. From Marutamachi Station, exit and take bus number 204 or 205 towards the 'Hōrinji' stop. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is approximately ¥230. After getting off, walk for about 10 minutes to reach Dannō-hōrinji Temple, located at 〒606-8387 Kyoto, Sakyo Ward, Horinji Monzencho, 36.
