If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the address: Ohashicho, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, 605-0009. From central Kyoto, take Route 1 (Kawaramachi-dori) south towards the Higashiyama area. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 292. Turn left onto Route 292 and follow the signs for Ohashi. After about 5 minutes, you will reach Ohashicho where the Birthplace of Ekiden is located. There is limited parking in the area, so be prepared to park in a designated lot or on the street where permitted.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Kyoto City Bus Line 100 or 206 from the Kyoto Station. Get off at the 'Higashiyama Sanjo' stop. From there, walk east along Sanjo Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Ohashicho. The Birthplace of Ekiden will be on your left. Note that bus fare will cost around 230 yen. Make sure to have some cash ready as not all buses accept cards.
