Getting There

Car
If you are driving from central Settsu, head east on Route 1 (the National Route 1) towards Osaka. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Meishin Expressway. Take the expressway towards Kyoto. After about 20 kilometers, take the exit towards Kyoto and merge onto Route 1 again. Follow the signs for Kyoto city center. Once in Kyoto, stay on Route 1 and look for signs to Kamo River. There are several parking options near the river, but be aware that parking fees will apply, typically ranging from 300 to 600 yen per hour.

Public Transportation
From Settsu, you can take the JR Takarazuka Line from Settsu-Tonda Station to Osaka Station. Transfer to the JR Kyoto Line at Osaka Station, heading towards Kyoto. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, exit the station and walk to the Kyoto Bus Terminal located right outside. Take Bus number 205 or 206 towards Kamo River. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes.
