Getting There

Car
From the center of Shinano, take Route 18 towards Tokamachi. Continue on this road for approximately 30 km. Once you reach Tokamachi, follow the signs for Kiyotsu Gorge. You will then take Route 290 heading towards Koide. After about 10 km, you will see signs for Kiyotsu Gorge. The parking lot is located near the entrance to the gorge. Note that there may be a parking fee of around 500 yen.

Public Transportation
From Shinano Station, take the local train on the Joetsu Line towards Tokamachi. The train ride will take about 25 minutes. Once you reach Tokamachi Station, transfer to a local bus that heads towards Kiyotsu Gorge. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends. The bus fare is around 500 yen.
