Car
If you are traveling by car from Shinano, start by heading east on Route 18. Continue on Route 18 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 353. Take the exit onto Route 353 and follow the signs toward Tokamachi. After about 15 kilometers, you will see signs for Panorama Station. Follow the signs to the parking area. Note that parking is usually free.

Public Transportation
To reach Panorama Station via public transportation, begin your journey at Shinano Station. Take the local train on the Iiyama Line toward Iiyama. After a 30-minute ride, transfer at Iiyama Station to the Hokuriku Shinkansen heading towards Nagano. Get off at Tokamachi Station, which takes about 25 minutes. From Tokamachi Station, you can take a local bus (approximately 20 minutes) that directly services Panorama Station. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited.
