    From Yakushima Airport or other major bus stops, take a bus heading towards Nagata. The bus ride takes approximately 40-50 minutes. Get off at the 'Nagata' bus stop. From there, walk approximately 20 minutes along Route 78 to reach the Yakushima-todai Lighthouse. Bus schedules vary, so check the latest timetable before your journey. A one-way bus fare from Miyanoura to Nagata is approximately ¥800.

    From Yakushima Airport, navigate to Route 25, the main road through the island. Follow Route 25 towards the southern part of the island. After approximately 30 minutes, turn onto Route 78, following signs for Nagata and Yakushima-todai Lighthouse. Continue on Route 78 for about 10 minutes until you reach the lighthouse parking area. Parking is available near the lighthouse. Note that the roads can be narrow and winding.
