    If you're driving from Zao Onsen, take Route 286 towards the north. After approximately 30 minutes, follow the signs to Sendai and merge onto the Tohoku Expressway (E4). Continue on E4 for about 45 kilometers. Take the Sendai Miyagi IC exit and follow the signs to downtown Sendai. AER is located at 1 Chome-3-1 Central, Aoba Ward, Sendai, Miyagi 980-0021. There is parking available nearby, but do check for parking fees which may range from 300 to 1000 yen depending on the area.

    To reach AER from Zao Onsen using public transport, take a bus from Zao Onsen to Yamagata Station. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. At Yamagata Station, transfer to the Shinkansen (bullet train) and head to Sendai Station. The Shinkansen ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sendai Station, exit the station and walk about 10 minutes to AER, which is located at 1 Chome-3-1 Central, Aoba Ward.
