    If you are traveling by car from Zao Onsen, head northeast on Route 457. Continue for approximately 25 km (15.5 miles) until you reach the city of Sendai. Upon entering the city, follow signs for Aoba Ward. Once you arrive in Aoba Ward, look for 2 Chome-5-7 Central. The Mitakisan Fudoin Temple will be on your right. Parking is available near the temple, but be aware that some areas may require a small fee.

From Yamagata Station, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Sendai Station, which will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Sendai Station, exit the station and take the subway (Namboku Line) towards Izumi-Chuo and get off at the Aoba-Dori Ichibancho Station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the temple. Head west towards 2 Chome-5-7 Central, Aoba Ward. Note that train and subway fares may vary but expect to pay around 2000 yen for the entire journey.
