    Start at the Jordan Pond House, a popular spot for visitors. From there, head west on the Jordan Pond Path until you reach the intersection with the Park Loop Road. Cross the road and continue on the Jordan Pond Path until you reach the intersection with the Eagle Lake Path. Take the Eagle Lake Path north. Follow it until you reach the intersection with the Seal Cove Road. At this point, you will need to navigate towards Route 3 by walking along the Seal Cove Road. Continue on Route 3 heading towards Bar Harbor. Stay on the left side of the road and walk towards the intersection with Higgins Farm Road. Turn left onto Higgins Farm Road, and follow it until you see the entrance to Indian Point Blagden Preserve on your right.

  • Biking from Bar Harbor

    Rent a bike in Bar Harbor and start at the Town Hill Road leading towards Route 3. Follow Route 3 south until you reach the intersection with Higgins Farm Road. Turn left onto Higgins Farm Road and continue biking straight until you reach the entrance of Indian Point Blagden Preserve. This route is approximately 4 miles and takes you through some beautiful sections of Acadia National Park.

  • Public Transportation

    Use the Island Explorer bus service, which operates throughout Acadia National Park. Take the bus heading towards Bar Harbor and get off at the stop closest to Route 3.
