Walking
From the Visitor Center at Hulls Cove, start by heading south along the Park Loop Road. After about a 20-minute walk, you will reach the junction with ME-102. Turn left onto ME-102 and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. You will see signs for the Pretty Marsh Picnic Area on your right. The entrance is marked, and there is a small parking area for those who may drive.

Biking
If you are at the Village Green in Bar Harbor, you can rent a bike and head towards the Park Loop Road. Follow the loop until you reach the intersection with ME-102. Turn left onto ME-102 and continue biking for about 1 mile. The Pretty Marsh Picnic Area will be on your right. This route offers beautiful scenic views of the park.

If you are near the Bar Harbor area, take the Island Explorer Shuttle bus which is a free service that operates in the park. Look for the bus route that stops at the 'Park Loop Road' stops. Get off at the stop closest to ME-102. After disembarking, walk about 10 minutes down ME-102, and the Pretty Marsh Picnic Area will be on your right.
