Public Bus
From Laurel, head to the nearest bus stop on Route 198. Board the WMATA Bus 86 towards Greenbelt. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes, then get off at the Greenbelt Metro Station. Transfer to the Metro Green Line towards Branch Avenue and ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to One Freedom Plaza. Exit the station, walk northeast on 7th Street NW, then turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The plaza will be on your right.

Metro Subway
Walk to the Laurel Town Center Park & Ride and catch the Metrobus B30 towards Greenbelt. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the Greenbelt Metro Station. Take the Green Line towards Branch Avenue. After approximately 30 minutes, exit at Gallery Place-Chinatown. Walk northeast on 7th Street NW, then make a left turn onto Pennsylvania Avenue NW. One Freedom Plaza will be on your right after a short 10-minute walk.

Walking and Light Rail
If you prefer to walk, head to the Laurel Rail Station and take the MARC Train (Penn Line) towards Washington Union Station. The ride takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby Metro Center. From Metro Center, take the Red Line towards Glenmont and transfer at Gallery Place to the Green Line towards Branch Avenue. After getting off at Gallery Place-Chinatown, walk northeast on 7th Street NW, turn left on Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and One Freedom Plaza will be on your right.
