Stay on the train for about 30 minutes and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the '9th St NW' exit. After you exit, head south on 9th St NW for about 2 blocks, then turn left onto G St NW. Continue walking for about 3 blocks and then turn right onto 10th St NW. Ford's Theatre will be on your left at 511 10th St NW.

From Rockville, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the Ride On Bus Route 46 towards the Glenmont Metro Station. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Twinbrook Metro Station. Transfer to the Red Line train towards Silver Spring and ride for an additional 30 minutes until you reach Gallery Place-Chinatown. Exit the station and follow the directions provided for the Metro option above to reach Ford's Theatre.
