Car
If you're driving from the center of Red River Valley, head south on MN-55 W. Continue on MN-55 W for approximately 12 miles. Merge onto I-394 W and stay on it for about 4 miles. Take exit 3 for MN-100 S toward Bloomington. Continue on MN-100 S for about 3 miles, then take exit 5 for MN-7 W. After about 1 mile, take a left onto W Franklin Ave. Westwood Hills Nature Center will be on your right at 8300 W Franklin Ave, St Louis Park, MN 55426. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Westwood Hills Nature Center using public transit, start by taking the Metro Transit bus route 9 from downtown Red River Valley. You will ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at W Franklin Ave & Louisiana Ave S. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk (0.5 miles) to the nature center. Head west on W Franklin Ave, and you will find the entrance to Westwood Hills Nature Center on your left. Make sure to check the Metro Transit website for the latest schedules and any potential fares.
