Bus
From downtown Jackson, head to the Jackson Greyhound Bus Station located at 300 W Capitol St. Catch a bus heading towards Moran, Wyoming. Make sure to buy your ticket in advance. The bus ride will take approximately 10-12 hours. Once you arrive in Moran, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Colter Bay Campground, which is about 30 minutes away.
Bicycle
If you are adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can start at the Jackson Visitor Center located at 399 E Main St. Head north on Main St. until you reach the intersection with US-89. Turn left onto US-89 and follow it out of Jackson. It's a long ride (about 100 miles) to Moran, so ensure you are well-prepared with water and snacks. Once in Moran, follow signs to Colter Bay Campground.
Walking
Walking to Colter Bay Campground from Jackson is not feasible due to the distance (over 30 miles). However, you can start by walking to the Jackson Greyhound Bus Station and catch a bus to Moran as detailed above.
