Getting There

    From the Many Glacier Hotel, head towards the Grinnell Trailhead. The trail begins at the end of the parking lot. Follow the Grinnell Lake Trail for about 2.5 miles. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Blakiston Falls. The trail is well-marked and will lead you through beautiful scenery, including forests and meadows. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach a viewpoint for Blakiston Falls. It's a stunning sight, so take your time to enjoy the view!

  • Hiking

    If you are starting from the Lake Louise area, take the Plain of Six Glaciers Trail. Start at the Lake Louise parking area and hike towards the Plain of Six Glaciers. After about 3.5 miles, you will reach a junction. Follow the signs leading to the Victoria Glacier viewpoint, which will also give you a view of Blakiston Falls in the distance. This route is slightly longer but offers breathtaking views along the way.

    From Banff, take the Roam Public Transit bus to Lake Louise. Once you arrive at Lake Louise, follow the signs to the Lake Agnes Trail. Hike towards Lake Agnes and then continue on the Plain of Six Glaciers Trail. This route is about 4.5 miles one way and provides scenic overlooks of the surrounding mountains. You will eventually reach a viewpoint for Blakiston Falls before heading back.
