Hiking
From the Many Glacier Hotel, begin your hike on the Swiftcurrent Trailhead. Follow the trail which leads you along the Swiftcurrent River. Continue on the trail for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the junction for the Grinnell Glacier Trail. At this junction, take a left towards Grinnell Glacier. This part of the hike will involve some elevation gain as you will be ascending towards the Many Glacier Amphitheater. Stay on the marked trail and follow the signs indicating Grinnell Glacier. As you approach the Amphitheater, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding peaks and the turquoise waters of Grinnell Lake. The total hike from Many Glacier Hotel to Many Glacier Amphitheater is about 3.5 miles one way.
