Hiking from Many Glacier Campground
Start your journey at Many Glacier Campground. From the campground, follow the Swiftcurrent Trailhead located near the visitor center. The trail will lead you along the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake. Continue on the trail as it merges with the Grinnell Glacier Trail. After approximately 2 miles, look for a junction that directs you toward Iceberg Lake. Instead of heading to the lake, continue on the trail towards Iceberg Peak. Be prepared for a steep ascent as you approach the peak. The total hike is about 6 miles one way, with a challenging elevation gain. Make sure to carry plenty of water and snacks.

Hiking from Iceberg Lake Trailhead
If you're starting from the Iceberg Lake Trailhead, located near Many Glacier Hotel, take the Iceberg Lake Trail. This trail is well marked and takes you through beautiful scenery. The trail begins by heading northwest and then takes you into a valley with impressive mountain views. After about 2 miles, you will reach Iceberg Lake. From the lake, look for the trail that leads upward toward Iceberg Peak. The final stretch will involve climbing rocky terrain and may require some scrambling, so wear appropriate footwear and be cautious of loose rocks. The total hike from the Iceberg Lake Trailhead to the peak is around 5 miles, making for a round trip of about 10 miles.
