If you are starting from the Many Glacier area, begin your hike on the Grinnell Glacier Trail. Follow the trail signs towards Grinnell Glacier. As you ascend, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. After approximately 2.5 miles, you will reach a junction. Continue straight to stay on the Grinnell Glacier Trail. After another mile, you will reach the glacier overlook. From here, The Garden Wall will be visible to your right, forming a dramatic ridge. You can enjoy views from this point or continue hiking along the trail to explore further.

If you are coming from the Logan Pass area, start at the Logan Pass Visitor Center. Take the Highline Trail heading south. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After about 3 miles, you will reach a point where the trail splits. Look for signs pointing towards The Garden Wall. Continue on this route for about another mile until you reach the base of The Garden Wall, where you can marvel at the impressive rock formations.
