Hiking
To reach Bird Woman Falls Overlook, begin your journey at the Apgar Visitor Center. From the visitor center, head north along the Lake McDonald shoreline. Follow the path that leads towards the Lake McDonald Lodge. Continue along the trail that runs parallel to the lake, enjoying the scenic views. After approximately 1.5 miles, look for the trailhead marked for the Bird Woman Falls Overlook. This trail will take you uphill for about 0.5 miles. Be mindful of the elevation gain, and take breaks as necessary. The overlook will be clearly marked, offering stunning views of Bird Woman Falls.
Public Transport and Hiking
From the Apgar Visitor Center, board the park's shuttle service (if available) towards the Logan Pass area. Disembark at the closest stop to the trailhead for Bird Woman Falls. If shuttles are not in operation, you may need to hike from the visitor center along the road to the trailhead. Once at the trailhead, follow the well-marked path. The hike to the overlook is about 2 miles round trip, with a moderate incline, allowing you to reach the stunning views of Bird Woman Falls.
