Getting There

    If you are starting from Thamel, head east towards the main road. Turn left onto the road and walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Ring Road. Cross the Ring Road carefully, and continue walking straight. You will see a sign for Bodhnath Stupa (Buddha Temple) directing you towards the right. Follow the signs and walk along the road for about 800 meters until you reach the entrance of the temple area.

    From the Kathmandu Durbar Square, start walking towards the east exit of the square. Continue straight onto Indra Chowk and then turn left onto the road leading to the Ring Road. Walk straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Bodhnath Stupa. Follow the signs to the right and after about 600 meters, you will arrive at Buddha Temple.

    If you are coming from Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), begin your descent down the steps and take a left onto the main road. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Ring Road. Cross the Ring Road and continue straight. You will see signs for Bodhnath Stupa. Follow these signs for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at the Buddha Temple.

    Starting from the airport, exit the airport and turn right onto the road leading to the Ring Road. Walk along the Ring Road for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Bodhnath Stupa. Turn left and follow the signs for about 1 kilometer. You will see the entrance to Buddha Temple.
