Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Thamel, head south towards the Basantapur Durbar Square. As you exit Thamel, keep walking straight until you reach the square. From Basantapur, you can see Indrachok to the southeast. Walk through the narrow streets, following the signs towards Indra Chowk. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Indrachok.

If you are near the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), head down towards the city center. Walk toward the Kirtipur area and follow the road signs leading to Durbar Square. Once you reach Durbar Square, continue straight towards the entrance of Basantapur. From there, follow the same directions to Indrachok as outlined from Thamel.

If you are at the Kathmandu Durbar Square, simply exit the square through the main gate and take a left. Continue along the road for a few minutes, and you will find yourself at Indrachok, which is a short walk from the square.

Public Transport (Local Bus or Microbus)
From anywhere in the city, you can catch a microbus heading towards Ratnapark. Once at Ratnapark, get off and walk towards the Basantapur Durbar Square. Once you reach the square, follow the directions provided previously to reach Indrachok.
