If you are starting from Thamel, head east on the main road until you reach the intersection with the Ratna Park area. Turn right and continue straight, passing by the park on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction at the end of the park. Here, you will see a large stupa, the Kathmandu Durbar Square, to your left. Continue straight past the square, and you will approach the entrance of Freak Street (Jhochhen). The street is located just off this main road, and you can easily spot it once you are near the stupa.
