If you are driving, start from the Aoraki/Mount Cook Village. Head southeast on State Highway 80 (SH80) for approximately 6 kilometers. Look for the Tasman Valley Road on your left. Turn left onto Tasman Valley Road and follow it for about 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the end of the road. From the parking lot, take the well-marked trail that leads to the Tasman Glacier Viewpoint. The hike to the viewpoint is around 30-45 minutes one way, so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
