Bus
Start at the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1167 Fenton Street. Take the Skyline Rotorua bus (Route 1) towards the Blue Lake Park. The bus will take you through the scenic routes of Rotorua and drop you near the intersection of Lake Tikitapu Road and Tarawera Road. From there, it's a short walk to Blue Lake Park.

From the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop. Head south on Fenton Street and take a left onto Lake Road. Continue on Lake Road until you reach the junction with Tarawera Road. Turn right onto Tarawera Road and follow the signs towards Blue Lake Park, which is located on your left as you approach Lake Tikitapu.

If you're up for a scenic walk, start at the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre. Head south on Fenton Street, then take a left onto Lake Road. Continue walking straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Tarawera Road. Turn right and walk along Tarawera Road for about 1 kilometer until you see the entrance to Blue Lake Park on your left.

For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Rotorua. Just tell the driver to take you to Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake Park). The drive should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
