If you're renting a car, start your journey in Cusco. Take Av. de la Cultura and head southeast towards the intersection with Route 3S. Continue on Route 3S, which will lead you towards Checacupe. After approximately 2 hours of driving, look for signs directing you to the town of Pitumarca. Follow the signs to Pitumarca, then continue on to the small village of Uchullujllo. From here, you will see signs for Montaña de Colores. Drive to the designated parking area, which may have a small fee (approximately 5-10 soles) for parking.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Montaña de Colores via public transport, go to the bus terminal in Cusco (Terminal Terrestre). Look for buses heading to Pitumarca; these are usually small vans or minibuses and leave frequently throughout the day. The fare is around 15-20 soles and the ride takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Pitumarca, ask locals for the direction to Uchullujllo or look for shared taxis heading there. The fare for a shared taxi from Pitumarca to Uchullujllo is about 5-10 soles. Upon arrival in Uchullujllo, you may need to walk or hire a local guide to take you to Montaña de Colores, which is about a 1-hour hike from the village.
