As you approach Vaquería, look for signs directing to 'Parque Nacional Huascarán'. The ticket control is located just outside the town, so keep an eye out for the entrance on your right.

To reach the ticket control via public transportation, take a bus from Huaraz to Vaquería. Buses depart regularly from the main terminal in Huaraz. Upon arrival in Vaquería, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to reach the ticket control, which is approximately 10 minutes away. Ensure to mention 'Parque Nacional Huascarán' to the taxi driver to get you to the correct location. The cost of the bus ride is usually around 10-15 soles, and a taxi ride from Vaquería to the ticket control may cost an additional 10-20 soles.
