If you are driving, take the main road from Aguas Calientes towards Machu Picchu. After approximately 2 km, look for the sign for Mariposario of Machu Picchu on Avenida Hermanos Ayar. Follow the signs, and you will reach the butterfly sanctuary in about 5 minutes. There is usually parking available near the entrance.

From Aguas Calientes, you can take a local taxi or a shared van to Mariposario of Machu Picchu. The fare is usually around 10-15 soles per person. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Tell the driver to drop you off at 'Avenida Hermanos Ayar,' and you will see the entrance to the butterfly sanctuary.
