If you are traveling by car from Huaraz, take the Calle 28 de Julio road heading southeast. Continue on this road until you reach the junction at Anta. Turn left onto the road towards Huanchay. After about 10 km, you will arrive at a fork; keep right to continue towards the Santa Cruz Trek entrance. Follow this road through the scenic valleys, and keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Condorcoccha Lake. The journey from Huaraz to the lake takes approximately 3-4 hours depending on traffic. Make sure to have a map or a GPS available as some signs may be limited. There are no entry fees to access the lake itself.

To reach Condorcoccha by public transport, start by taking a bus from Huaraz to Caraz, which typically departs from the main bus terminal. The bus ride takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Caraz, look for a local colectivo (shared taxi) heading towards the Santa Cruz Trek entrance. The colectivo ride should take about 30-45 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Condorcoccha Lake. The total cost for the bus from Huaraz to Caraz ranges from 10-15 soles, and the colectivo should cost around 15-20 soles. Note that departure times for colectivos may vary, so it's best to check in advance.
