    From Gitarama, head north on the RN1 highway towards Ruhengeri. The journey is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, covering around 85 km. Follow the signs towards Musanze (formerly Ruhengeri). As you approach Musanze, take the exit towards Kinigi. Continue straight until you reach the Gorilla Naming Place located at HH9X+C2M, Ruhengeri. Ensure you have some local currency for potential tolls along the highway.
