Private Car
From Gitarama, head north on the RN1 highway towards Ruhengeri. The journey is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, covering around 85 km. Follow the signs towards Musanze (formerly Ruhengeri). As you approach Musanze, take the exit towards Kinigi. Continue straight until you reach the Gorilla Naming Place located at HH9X+C2M, Ruhengeri. Ensure you have some local currency for potential tolls along the highway.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Gitarama, go to the main bus station and take a bus heading to Musanze. The bus ride takes around 3 hours and costs approximately 1500 RWF. Once you arrive at the Musanze bus station, you can take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to the Gorilla Naming Place in Kinigi for about 1000 RWF. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.

If you prefer to skip the bus and are already in Musanze, you can hire a moto-taxi directly from the town center. The ride to the Gorilla Naming Place will cost around 1000 RWF and will take approximately 20 minutes. Ensure to agree on the price before starting the trip.
