Car
If you're traveling by car within Volcanoes National Park, start from the main entrance of the park, which is located at Kinigi. From Kinigi, head south on the road leading towards Musanze (Ruhengeri). Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers (9.3 miles). Look for signs for Singita Kwitonda Lodge, which will direct you to a right turn onto a smaller road. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) until you reach the lodge. Be prepared for some rough terrain as you approach the lodge. It's advisable to have a 4x4 vehicle if possible.

To use public transportation, you can take a mototaxi (motorcycle taxi) from Kinigi to Musanze. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey, which should be around 3,000 Rwandan Francs (approximately $3). Once you reach Musanze, you can hire a private taxi to take you to Singita Kwitonda Lodge. The taxi ride will cost around 10,000 to 15,000 Rwandan Francs (approximately $10 to $15). Make sure to inform the taxi driver of your destination to ensure you are taken directly to the lodge.
