Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start by heading to the A907 road in Clackmannanshire. Follow signs for the M90 motorway and merge onto it. Continue on the M90 until you reach the junction for the A8 towards Edinburgh. Merge onto the A8 and follow the signs towards the city center. When you reach the A1, continue onto the A701 which will take you directly into Edinburgh. Once in the city, follow signs for the Old Town and the Canongate area. The Robert Fergusson Statue is located at 145 Canongate, Edinburgh EH8 8BN. There is limited street parking available, so be prepared to find a parking space nearby and walk to the statue.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, take a train from your location in Clackmannanshire to Edinburgh Waverley Station. Once you arrive at the station, exit and head towards the bus terminal. From there, you can catch the Lothian Bus number 35 towards the Old Town. Get off at the Canongate stop. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to 145 Canongate, where you will find the Robert Fergusson Statue. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for any fares and timings.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the Old Town in Edinburgh, you can simply walk to the statue. From the Royal Mile, head down towards Canongate. You will pass various shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach 145 Canongate. The statue is located in front of the Canongate Kirk, which is easy to spot. This is a lovely walk that allows you to soak in the historic atmosphere of Edinburgh.
