Walking
If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station and walk towards the main street, Princes Street. Head east along Princes Street until you reach North Bridge. Cross North Bridge and continue straight onto the High Street (Royal Mile). Walk along the Royal Mile for about 5 minutes until you reach St Giles' Cathedral on your right. From there, look for the close that leads down to White Horse Close, which is located just off the Royal Mile at number 10. The entrance to White Horse Close is a small passageway that may be easy to miss, so keep an eye out for the sign.

Walking
If you are at the Edinburgh Castle, exit the castle grounds and walk down the Royal Mile towards the east. Keep walking for approximately 10 minutes until you see St Giles' Cathedral on your left. Just after the cathedral, look for White Horse Close on your right side. The close leads down towards the entrance at number 10, which is marked with a sign.

If you are near the city center, you can take a Lothian Bus service that goes towards the Royal Mile. Get off at the stop called 'St Giles' Cathedral'. From the bus stop, walk towards the Royal Mile and head east for about 5 minutes. Look for White Horse Close, which is a small passageway leading down to the right, just after you pass the cathedral.

If you are at Holyrood Palace, walk up Abbeyhill and turn left at the roundabout onto the Canongate. Continue walking until you reach the Royal Mile. Turn to your right onto the Royal Mile and walk for about 15 minutes until you see St Giles' Cathedral on your left. White Horse Close will be just after the cathedral on your right side, leading down to number 10.
