Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards the A907 road. From the A907, follow the signs for the A91 towards Stirling. Continue on the A91 until you reach the M876 motorway. Merge onto the M876 and follow the signs for the M9 towards Edinburgh. Once on the M9, take the exit onto the M8 towards Edinburgh. Continue on the M8 and take the exit for the A71 towards Edinburgh City Centre. Once you reach the city, follow signs for Charlotte Square. There is limited on-street parking available, and you may need to pay for parking in nearby car parks.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  Take a train from Alloa Station to Edinburgh Waverley Station. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Waverley Station, exit the station and head towards Market Street. From Market Street, you can either walk to Charlotte Square (about a 15-minute walk) or take a bus. If you choose to walk, head up the Mound, continue onto the south side of Princes Street, and then take a left onto Charlotte Square.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  You can also take a bus from various locations in Clackmannanshire directly to Edinburgh. Look for services operated by Stagecoach or Lothian Buses that head towards Edinburgh City Centre. Once you arrive in the city, disembark at a stop near Charlotte Square. The bus journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Be sure to check the schedule for fares, which typically range from £4 to £6 for a single journey.
