Take the Tube to 'Blackfriars' station (on the Circle or District line). Exit the station and turn right onto New Bridge Street. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Farringdon Street. Cross over to Farringdon Street and continue walking straight. When you reach the intersection with Garlick Hill, turn left. St James Garlickhythe will be ahead on your right.

Catch a bus heading towards 'Blackfriars' and get off at the 'Blackfriars Station' stop. From there, walk towards New Bridge Street, turn right and follow the same route as mentioned previously, walking straight until you reach Garlick Hill, then turn left.

If you're near the River Thames, you can walk along the riverbank towards Blackfriars Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, head left onto New Bridge Street, continue straight, and then turn left onto Garlick Hill. St James Garlickhythe will be on your right side.

You can rent a Santander Cycle (commonly known as Boris Bikes) and cycle towards Blackfriars. Head towards New Bridge Street and then follow the route as if you were walking, making a left turn onto Garlick Hill where the church is located.
