Getting There

    If you are driving from Selkirkshire, take the A7 road heading north towards Edinburgh. Follow the A7 for approximately 35 miles. As you approach Edinburgh, follow signs for the city center. When you reach the roundabout at the end of the A7, take the first exit onto the A701. Continue on the A701 until you reach the junction with the A90. Follow the A90 signs to the left, and then take the exit for the city center. Follow the signs for Grassmarket. There is limited parking available nearby, and you may incur parking fees which vary by duration.

    If you prefer public transportation from Selkirkshire, start by taking the Borders Railway from Selkirk station to Edinburgh Waverley station. The train journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Waverley station, exit the station and head towards North Bridge. Take the bus number 35 from the bus stop outside the station towards the Grassmarket area. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can walk from Waverley station to Grassmarket, which will take about 15-20 minutes.
