Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start on the M8 motorway if coming from the west or M90 if coming from the north. Follow signs for Edinburgh city center. Once you reach the city, take the A1 and continue on to the A900, following signs for the Old Town. Parking can be found at nearby car parks such as the Q-Park at Castle Terrace (address: 1 Castle Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2DP, charges apply). From there, it's a short walk to Ramsay Garden.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train to Edinburgh Waverley Station, which is well connected from major cities like Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Inverness. Once you arrive at Waverley Station, exit the station and head towards Market Street. Walk up the hill towards the Old Town, and follow signs for the Royal Mile. Continue walking until you reach Ramsay Garden, which is a short distance from the Royal Mile.

• Bus

  If you prefer bus travel, there are several bus operators that provide services to Edinburgh from various locations across Scotland. Once you arrive at the Edinburgh Bus Station, you can catch local buses or walk to the city center. Buses 36, 45, or 33 will take you closer to the Old Town area. After getting off, navigate towards the Royal Mile and head to Ramsay Garden.

• Walking

  Once you are in the vicinity of Ramsay Garden, it’s best to explore on foot to fully appreciate the historic architecture and charm of the area. From the Royal Mile, walk towards the entrance of Ramsay Garden, which is located at 12 Ramsay Garden, EH1 2NA. The site is easily accessible and is open for visitors.
