Getting There

Walking
If you are in the city center, head towards the East Market Street and walk towards the east. Continue straight until you reach the Scottish Parliament Building. From there, proceed to the Holyrood Park, where you'll find the Esplanade. The Esplanade is a large open area that offers stunning views of Arthur's Seat and the surrounding landscape.

Bus
From the city center, take the Lothian Bus number 3 or 33 from any bus stop around the Princes Street area. Request a stop at the Scottish Parliament. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the Holyrood Park entrance, and you will soon arrive at the Esplanade.

Tram
Take the Edinburgh Tram from the city center (the nearest tram stop is St Andrew Square) towards the Airport. Get off at the 'York Place' stop. From there, walk down to the East Market Street and continue to the Scottish Parliament Building. Head into Holyrood Park where you will find the Esplanade.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental services in the city. Follow the cycle paths towards Holyrood Park. Once you reach the park, cycle towards the Esplanade area, which is easily accessible and offers bike parking.
