Walking
From Freiburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head southeast on Bismarckallee towards the city center. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße and walk straight for about 700 meters. You will pass shops and cafes on both sides. Keep an eye out for the Martinstor (Martin's Gate) on your right; it’s a prominent landmark. Once you reach the Martinstor, take a right onto the narrow street called 'Gerberau.' Continue straight for approximately 300 meters until you come to a small square. Kleiner Kanonenplatz will be located on your left, just off this square.

From the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), take tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Littenweiler' or 'Vauban' respectively. Get off at the 'Schwarzwaldstraße' stop (about 3 stops, approximately 10 minutes). After exiting the tram, walk east on Schwarzwaldstraße until you reach the intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße and walk straight for about 400 meters, passing by various shops. Look for the Martinstor on your right. At Martinstor, turn right onto the narrow street 'Gerberau.' Walk for about 300 meters, and Kleiner Kanonenplatz will be on your left.
