    From Dewa, get onto Route 112 heading north. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Nishikawa. Once in Nishikawa, follow the signs directing you to Shizu. The park is located approximately 10 minutes from the center of Nishikawa. You can use your GPS with the coordinates 38.5044471, 139.9976627 to reach the park directly. Parking is available on-site.

    Start at Dewa Station and take the JR Rikuuto Line to Nishikawa Station, which takes about 45 minutes. From Nishikawa Station, you can take a local bus towards Shizu. Check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Alight at the stop nearest to Yamagata Prefectural Natural Park. The park is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check for the return bus schedule to plan your visit accordingly.
