Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Kumamoto City, take the Kyushu Expressway (E3) and head towards Aso. Exit at the Aso-Kujū Expressway (E57) at the Minamiaso exit. Follow the signs for Minamiaso, which will lead you onto Route 57. Continue on Route 57 for approximately 15 minutes, and then look for signs for the Minamiaso Information Centre, located at 2807 Hisaishi, Minamiaso. There is ample parking available at the centre.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Kumamoto City, take a bus from the Kumamoto Bus Terminal to Minamiaso. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Minamiaso bus stop, walk approximately 10 minutes along Route 57 towards the Minamiaso Information Centre, which is located at 2807 Hisaishi.
