    From Hitachi Station, take the Joban Line train towards Ueno Station. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. You will need to transfer at either Katsuta Station or Tomioka Station to continue on the Joban Line towards Ueno. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, follow the signs to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Take the Ginza Line towards Asakusa and get off at the Nippori Station. From Nippori Station, it’s a 10-15 minute walk to Yanaka Cemetery.

    If you are driving, start from Hitachi and head towards the Joban Expressway (E6). Follow signs for the expressway and merge onto E6.
