Car
If you are driving, take Route 135 from central Izu towards Shimoda. Follow the signs to Shimoda, and as you approach the city, continue on Route 135 until you reach a fork. Stay left to remain on Route 135. After approximately 10 minutes, you will see signs for Tatadohama Beach. Turn right onto Kisami Street and follow the road until you reach the beach parking area. Please note that parking fees may apply, so have some cash on hand.

Train and Bus
For those using public transportation, take the Izukyu Railway from Izu Station to Shimoda Station. This scenic train ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Shimoda Station, exit and look for the bus stop for the 'Kisami' line. Board the bus and ensure you inform the driver you are going to Tatadohama Beach. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. There is a small fare for the bus, so be prepared with change or a prepaid IC card.
