If you are traveling by car, start from central Izu City and head south on Route 135. Follow the signs towards Shimoda. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Shimoda. Continue on Route 135 until you see signs for Suzaki. Turn right onto Route 413 and follow this road until you reach the Tsumekizaki area. The Tsumekizaki Columnar Joints are located at Suzaki, Shimoda, Shizuoka 415-0014. Look for parking areas near the site, which may incur a small fee.
