If you are traveling by car, start your journey by getting onto the Kan-Etsu Expressway (関越自動車道) from your location in Kanto. Follow the Kan-Etsu Expressway and take the exit for Maebashi (前橋) IC. From the exit, follow Route 50 towards Maebashi city center. After driving for about 10-15 minutes, you will see signs for Lake Onuma (大沼). The lake is located at Fujimimachi Akagisan, Maebashi, Gunma 371-0101. Parking is available near the lake, and there may be a small parking fee.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the JR Takasaki Line from your nearest station to Takasaki Station (高崎駅). The journey will usually take around 1-1.5 hours, depending on your starting point. Once at Takasaki Station, transfer to the JR Gono Line and take a train towards Maebashi Station (前橋駅). After about 20 minutes, alight at Maebashi Station. From Maebashi Station, you can take a local bus (approximately 30-40 minutes) that heads towards Lake Onuma. Be sure to check the bus timetable as services may vary throughout the day. The bus will take you directly to the lake area.
