If you are starting from Osaka, take the JR Kyoto Line from Osaka Station to Kyoto Station, which takes about 30 minutes. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Line on the Subway and head towards Kokusaikaikan Station. Get off at Shijo Station (approximately 10 minutes). Exit the station via Exit 1. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Eifuku-ji Temple (Takoyakushi-dō). Head east on Shijo Avenue, then turn left onto Takoyakushi Street, continue straight until you reach the temple at 503 Shintakoyakushi Higashigawa-cho.

If driving from Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway No. 1 and follow the signs to Kyoto. The journey takes approximately 1 hour depending on traffic. Once in Kyoto, take the Sanjo-dori exit and head towards the city center. Find parking in the vicinity of Shijo Street as parking is limited near the temple. After parking, walk east on Shijo Avenue, take a left onto Takoyakushi Street, and continue straight until you reach Eifuku-ji Temple (Takoyakushi-dō) at 503 Shintakoyakushi Higashigawa-cho.
